NDP MPP urges minister to save clinic providing gender affirming health care

QUEEN’S PARK — Ontario NDP 2SLGBTQI Issues critic Kristyn Wong-Tam (Toronto Centre) has written to Health Minister Sylvia Jones urging her to provide funding to ensure the continued operation of Connect-Clinic, which fills a critical gap in Ontario’s health care system.

The virtual-only clinic provides gender affirming care to Trans, Non-binary and gender diverse people across Ontario, and is at risk of closing due to the government’s new physician services agreement with doctors.
